Miracle Multigel was created during a night of desperation in 1910, when my grandmother, Grace, was carrying my Aunt Tish. She had a wicked infection that she tried everything for to no avail. Finally, a harsh treatment of the day cured it, but left her tissues dried, rough and ravaged with small tears that ached & burned. 

My grandfather Walt, a Registered Pharmacist, couldn't bear seeing his darling in pain. He locked himself in his lab and created Miracle Multigel in a single night. While the gel was initially formulated as a soothing treatment for one woman, it soon became a raging success in their community, as people found a multitude of uses for this wonderful product.

Grace was a Master Herbalist and Nurse Midwife in her rural Kansas community. After Miracle Multigel solved her own problems, she began giving it to each client she helped in birthing. Suitable for new mom's irritated tissues, dishpan hands, chilblains, dry mouth, a husband's work roughened hands and baby's cradlecap alike. 

Grace once got a late call to a birthing mother's side, so Walt looked forward to an uninterrupted night of reading. He cracked open his book in front of her and she famously exclaimed:  "Get back in the lab Walt, it's a desert out there!"

Mom and Aunt Tish were working as secretaries in Kansas City in the 1940's. during World War II With rationing and shortages of food and luxury products, hair spray and setting lotion soon disappeared from store shelves. 

The go-to sugar solution women used then as setting lotion drew ants to their rolled hair overnight, so it was their Dad's own Miracle Multigel to the rescue! Not only does it work for heavy styles like this, but to spike and define our more modern styles today.
